Day 147/366: Snail Trail
This day, we started our long weekend, since we have < (or With Monday) off from work and school. Kinda fitted us well, since it turns our the girls' school were still going to be on strike - the whole following week and then some actually.
Anyway, we were expecting company at the cabin for the weekend - my cousin, her boyfriend and his granddaughter were arriving from Hamar in East Norway. the little girl, Ida, was SO excited to see the girls again - she visited last summer as well, and the tree of them had so much fun! Weather as still super warm, so the girls were running around outside playing until almost midnight, while the adults were sitting outside eating shrimps and enjoying wine and beer. Good conversations were had.
At the end of the night, Ida showed us some of what the girls had been up to - collecting snails! Some of the adults kinda freaked about it, but I think it is way cool. I love the fact that the girls are not squeamish when it comes to creeping-crawlies!
My cousin and her beau - who looks like he could be Daniel Craig's dad!
